An intake form will be used to assess your health concerns, health history, current stressors and any other factors that may be related to your specific case.
NUTRITIONAL ANALYSIS
Nutrition is one of the foundations to optimal health and will be assessed through diet diaries, blood testing and careful examination of individual needs.
PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS
Naturopathic Doctors have the same training as medical doctors and can do complete physical exams. We will perform relevant physical exams to illicit further information.
APPLIED KINESIOLOGY (AK)
AK is the study of muscles and the correlation of muscle strength to health of the body. It is a form of biofeedback that utilizes a system of manual muscle testing and can be used to root out organ dysfunction, food sensitivity and disease.
BIO-IMPEDANCE ASSESSMENT (BIA)
BIA is a non-invasive testing procedure that measures such things as body composition, metabolic rate and tissue hydration. It is an excellent tool for monitoring treatments involving weight loss, exercise, chronic illness and overall progress to your specialized treatment program.
ELECTRO MERIDIAN IMAGING (EMI)
EMI is a computerized diagnostic tool that measures the electro-conductivity of the Chinese Meridian System in the body. It can be used to provide a complete assessment of the functioning and health of your organ systems. A printout analysis of the results will be given to patients.
CHINESE PULSE AND TONGUE DIAGNOSIS
These ancient diagnostic techniques provide further insight into the functioning of the body.
LABORATORY TESTING
Depending on your symptoms, we may request that you obtain specific laboratory tests such as standard blood work, salivary testing or imaging.
